I’m Liz, a 23-year-old photography student borne to a surprisingly liberal couple in Texas and currently living in the Metro DC area. I switched between majors in conservation biology, international relations, psychology, and gender studies over the course of three years. In a moment of clarity I realized that I was happiest behind a camera and settled into the art student lifestyle. Cereal three times a day, going to bed at sunrise, the whole shebang.
Walking through the haze of day-to-day monotony blinds me to the simple, beautiful aspects of life. Taking pictures allows me to reevaluate the world around me. I can also photograph dogs. Lots of dogs.
